چکیده

Prostate cancer (PCa) is one of the most prevalent malignant tumors. The alternation microRNA (miRNA) expression associated with prostate progression, whereas its way to influence progression remains elusive. levels PRDM16 mRNA and miR-372-3p in PCa cell lines were analyzed using qRT-PCR. protein was also western blot. CCK-8, wound healing, Transwell assays applied examine proliferation, migration, invasion cells, respectively. Dual-luciferase reporter assay utilized validate interaction between PRDM16. In present study, markedly decreased observed cells. overexpression hampered cellular invasion, while silencing had opposite effect. Moreover, could target regulation Rescue experiments demonstrated that upregulating conspicuously restored inhibitory effect increased on PCa. Overall, our study clarifies biological role miR-372-3p/PRDM16 axis which may be effective biomarkers for clinical treatment cancer.

MiR-199a-3p suppresses proliferation and invasion of prostate cancer cells by targeting Smad1

OBJECTIVES This study was intended to analyze effects of miR-199a-3p and Smad1 on proliferation, migration and invasion of prostate cancer (PCa) cells. RESULTS MiR-199a-3p was significantly decreased in PCa tissues in comparison to that in adjacent normal tissues (P < 0.05). Over-expressed miR-199a-3p markedly suppressed proliferation and invasion of PCa cells (P < 0.05). MiR-199a-3p was nega...

MiR-493 suppresses the proliferation and invasion of gastric cancer cells by targeting RhoC

Objective(s):MiRNAs have been proposed to be key regulators of tumorigenesis, progression and metastasis. However, their effect and prognostic value in gastric cancer is still poorly known. Materials and Methods: Gastric cancer cell lines were cultured. Tissue samples obtained from 36 gastric cancer patients were used for quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) analysis. The tissue microarrays (T...

miR-506 inhibits cell proliferation and invasion by targeting TET family in colorectal cancer

Objective(s): Ten-eleven translocation (TET) family members have been shown to be involved in the development of many tumors. However, the biological role of the TET family and its mechanism of action in colorectal carcinogenesis and progression remain poorly understood. Materials and Methods:We measured the expression levels of TET family members in colorectal cancer (CRC) specimens, in the c...

MiR-502-3P suppresses cell proliferation, migration, and invasion in hepatocellular carcinoma by targeting SET

BACKGROUND/AIM Increasing evidences show that microRNAs are engaged in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The aim of this study was to investigate the role of miR-502-3P in HCC and to identify its underlying mechanism. METHODS The expression levels of miR-502-3P were assessed in multiple HCC cell lines and in liver tissues of patients with HCC. We further examined the effects of miR-502-3P on ma...

MiR-203 down-regulates Rap1A and suppresses cell proliferation, adhesion and invasion in prostate cancer

OBJECTIVE Evidence supports an important role for miR-203 in the regulation of the proliferation, migration and invasion of prostate cancer (PCa) cells. However, the exact mechanisms of miR-203 in PCa are not entirely clear. METHODS We examined the expression of miR-203 in prostate cancer tissues, adjacent normal tissues, PCa cell lines and normal prostate epithelial cells by qRT-PCR. Then, t...
